I need an ibanez RG 550 neck does any one got one or know where to get one.

I need a RG 550 ibanez neck for my RG 270.I just rewired it and it sounds great. I now need a maple fret board and a locking nut to complete it. So please if u got one or u know where to get one pleaze tell me. Thank u and rock on.

From what I've heard, Ibanez won't sell their necks as parts. They will replace a broken neck if you send the whole guitar to them - this applies all the way across the range, from the GAXs to the JEMs. They also charge a fortune.

You could look at http://www.warmoth.com - they can make you a neck with the same profile, a wide choice of woods, inlays and frets - including stainless steel frets (yum). Probably cheaper than Ibanez too.

Thanx but they dont seem to have the right specs...the arrangement of the bolts that connect the neck to the body are different on the ibanez body i have. They seem to only do the strat and tele style bolts. And besides the bolts the necks r shaped differently around the 19-22 fret.

Warmoth.com is great but only if you own those universal guitars.like strats and teles. That is why i have trouble finding this neck.So than DOT DOT DOT but my problem still exist.

If any one else has some addvice please tell me.
