what you are trying to work on is sweep picking right?
You need to get your left hand to do those arpeggios. Still, you'll do the "rake" movement, but it will seem that your right hand has nothing to do. That's normal, since sweeping is done to have less right hand movement. SO get your metronome, and play your arpeggios one note to the beat. If it's too easy for your left hand, increase the speed. etc.
