Six lessons in with current voice teacher. Almost nail the song however I goofed with one or two embellishments. Very nervous.

Thank you both for the compliment. Anyone can learn to sing. Learn to hit the notes and breath correctly. I am with my fourth teacher, all had something to offer. I was so bad my first one discourage me and suggested playing the bass. The second teacher gave me ear training exercises ad it took about a month or two to sing and eight note scale. There is more science out there now than the previous millennium.

Great job getting up there and dong it.
To other elements of this thread about signing; my wife has a glorious voice and had some training and singing competitions. So, when I sing, she is very encouraging. Though she will remind me: diaphragm and breath control. That's enough to master without playing an instrument at the same time.

Thank you, for me it has been such a process which spanned over decades haha. Music did not come naturally to me.
