Guitar connection issue!

Hey i wanna ask something!I get a buzzing electrical sound like a spark that keep buzzing till my electric guitar is plugged in to the amp. What's the reason behind it? It"s intensity depends on the guitar volume. As soon as i decrease the volume to the minimum, the sound nearly stops. Thanks & Regards!

plug in before you turn on amp
