I am working on "Bad Reputation" by Thin Lizzy. I'm having problems picking because my pick keeps getting "hung up" on a string and it's a very fast rhythm. Almost tremelo picking speed. Any tips where I can work out a smooth and accurate technique? I have even tried emulating the way you hold your pick and use your wrist but it certainly is harder than it looks. Thanks!

Hi there. Sometimes it is help to point your thumb down a bit, which causes the pick to turn at an angle relative to the strings. This reduces the friction on the strings and can help with speed and accuracy! I hope this helps...
Good luck, Tom
