Incidents, it's too much damn hassle, as I live in the UK,and have sorted it out a few months ago (it was brand new several months ago) ;) - shouldn't have to sort out a new guitar though- I was just making the point,in a long winded way that if you try a dozen Gibsons and a dozen Yamahas/ESPs or any other brand,you'll find a lot less in the way of defects in the "import" guitars.

If you're prepared for that have a serious look at a Faded SG,as you said you were considering an SG, switchgear and inlay/finish work maybe dodgy on some Gibsons, but the pickups and necks are some of the best out there.If you buy one,buy it locally if the price isn't too bad.

That'll cost you $500(£350) or so,they're over £650 ($1000) when we do get them here.
