Check out Epiphone Les Pauls. The company is owned by Gibson n make very good Les Pauls. I have a few and they are fantastic. They're a lot cheaper than Gibson too. I would never buy a Gibson unless I could comfortably afford it, or I knew that my music career was takin off in a big way.
