Hi Everyone,
I had a guitar when I was 17 and never learned to play it. I am now 45 and my wife bought me a Keith Urban acoustic guitar for Christmas. I know absolutely nothing about guitars but this one looks pretty good to me. I am just starting to go through some of the training videos here. They seem to be very thorough and I am enjoying it so far. My fingers need a lot of training so it will be a while before I am able to play much that sounds good.
Anyways, just wanted to say hi!

For sure!!! It can be rough in the beginning getting your fingers used to pushing down on metal wires (aka strings :-), but don't get discouraged...you'll be playing something resembling music before you know it!

This has been on my bucket list and, at 48, it's time to jump in both feet. I looked into private lessons...buku $$! Found this site and it's fantastic!!! Great way to learn and the instructors are top-notch!
