Hello everyone!! I recently discovered this website and I can already tell it is a gem. I just received my first guitar yesterday (on Christmas) and I am elated. I have been a fan of music and dance since I can remember. Unfortunately, I never got the opportunity to learn an instrument when I was a child, but I have always been drawn to guitar. I do feel silly because before 2 weeks ago I couldn't tell you much about a guitar at all. Now I have an acoustic (classical), acoustic-electric, and an electric guitar in my living room. I recently made changes in my life that have allowed me the time to learn alongside my son.

I do have one question.... is it normal to have to repeatedly tune your guitar when it is new? I don't know if it is because the tuner is very sensitive or I just don't know what I'm doing...

Anyway... I hope to be online as much as my free time allows in order to learn, and I look forward to interacting with other players
