My new Huntington Classical Guitar arrived via U.P.S. this afternoon. I've never owned a classical guitar (good one or el cheapo) before.

Is there anything I should know about setting up this guitar and keeping it in tune? I've already unboxed it and allowed it to set out in the house for about 5hrs now. It still won't stay in tune.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for getting one of those! We just published a lesson on how to deal with those tricky new nylon strings.

Hope this helps. Ask more if necessary & best of success!

Hi thisolewood
It took along time for mine to Huntington string to get broke in.. They seem to stretch and stretch. Moan and groan like the whole guitar wants to implode.. Now they stay into when using, and need very little at the start.. tuning keys turn hard also.
I'll change to better string soon and see if I can't find a lubricant for the tuner..
Hope this helps you out..
