Do you mean bad for your guitarplaying?
Its not, its good.
Of course if you play alot you play less guitar,
but the playing itself doesnt affect the guitarplaying.
You get better rhythm, maybe better coordination too.
+ its really fun to just hammer away from time to time.

The impact from serious drum playing will give you calluses in a lot of new places on your hands. So be prepared for that.

Exposure to the loud, repetious banging, could drive you crazy, make you develop a nervous tick, or possibly cause brain damage.......

It could make you a drummer, and seing as guitar playing requires a certain standard of humanity, that would definately cause problems, lol, ;).
"Dozens of people spontaneously combust each year, it's just not that widely reported".
