best digital delay

What would you guys say is the best digital delay pedal for distorted lead?

I'd be tempted with either Boss or MXR

Yeah the BOSS DD-7 looks like the best option for me at the moment. Has a great simple-to-use looper and different delay options.

I started out with a Boss DD-7 years back and it was a great pedal. At the price it is a solid delay option.

I have since moved on to the Strymon time line and can't imagine a better delay, it is great and can do everything, but is more expensive.

A guy I jam with uses the Flashback 4 by tc electronics and seems to love it as well

I was looking at the Flashback as well, but apparently the looper isn't as functional as the DD-7.
