Hi everybody,

I am an advanced guitarist and I stumbled onto Guitar Tricks while searching for some high quality backing tracks to jam along to. After browsing the website, I get the feeling that most of the lesson material is geared towards beginners and intermediate players, and I'm curious if there are any advanced guitarists who regularly use the site and find it to be useful. I guess I'm just trying to get a feel for the content of the site before I commit to paying for a membership.

In particular, I'm curious about the content of the song lessons, but unfortunately, it seems that there's no way to preview song lessons unless you're a paying member - I imagine that is due to licensing restrictions, which is understandable.

If all of the songs in the library have a "minus one" track that I can play along with, then that's probably worth the price of admission alone. That's really what I'm looking for - just a giant library of minus one jam tracks. It's just hard to glean that information from what's available on the website. So, my question is: what, exactly, is contained in the song lessons?

And more specifically: are there "minus one" backing tracks for all of the song lessons?

Thanks in advance!

EDIT: Removed the little blurb about my skill set as I realize that's probably not relevant to my question.

Hi everybody, I have an update.

A member of the GuitarTricks staff contacted me directly and told me that in the existing library, roughly half of the song lessons include a "minus one" play-along section, which is what I'm looking for. So, I'm going to go ahead and sign up and give it a try!

I just wanted to post that information here in case other people find it to be useful.
