Taken from the top post in the request forum by Jon Broderick (the boss?):

"We Know Which Songs Most People Want. We know there is a sizable audience for "Stairway to Heaven" so it isn't necessary for you to ask us to get it. We are already trying to get it."

I'm guessing Led Zep are tough to play ball with over their songs. I've heard that they didn't want their music used in films etc, but recently I've heard one or two - Immigrant Song springs to mind. So maybe they're softening a little and we'll get some Zep soon.

Maybe.

The "School of Rock" used the Immegrant Song. Included in the bonus material of the DVD is a video Jack Black made to litterally beg Zeppelin to allow them to use their music. He pleaded his case in a way only Jack Black could do.

That movie came out a while ago, so I don't know if it's really an indication of them softening up. The current case against them (which I think is BS) for ripping off Stairway to Heaven I'm sure isn't helping the situation.

Like others were saying, it takes a bit get these songs. I would add that Guitar Tricks gets songs legally. You can find lessons on YouTube for about anything but they may not be legally done. GT makes sure that it is done ethically and rightfully makes sure the artists are paid. That also means that it is up to the publishing company/artists to say 'yes'. Tus why some of the best rock songs may not yet appear on GT. It's hard work to get permission.
