I have been playing acoustic guitar for about 20 years or so but never learned the right way. I play in a band but mainly sing and play guitar for maybe 10 songs or so. I don't have a problem jamming along once I have the lyrics and chords in front of me (for chord changes). The problem I have is I cant just pick up the guitar and jam along by ear with others.
Where would you suggest I start on guitar tricks to learn properly. I would love to be able to down the road just play off the cuff and would also like to learn some lead riffs etc on electric.
Any help will be much appreciated :)
