I have loved music all my life - my dad played the piano, trumpet and of course....guitar. I can sing on key and have an insanely large music collection....which continues to grow (so much music....so little time). My entire life I have wanted to play the guitar but always found something else to do instead. Three years ago, my son (who's a fair player) bought me a guitar for Christmas and informed me now I didn't have an excuse anymore - it was time to play. Well, here I am three years later - nervous to start....but determined. As you get older (I'm 57....how did that happen?) you come to realize life is too short to have regrets. So having said that - wish me luck..... Cheers all

Welcome aboard!!! Certainly better late than never.

There are great resources here, including this forum, to help you with your journey.

What type of music is it that you'd like to learn to play?
