I use Elixirs... I am not in their sales dept. and make no commission on anything. Elixir are the original coated strings and in my eyes they last a long time. They are a bit more expensive than many other strings but I don't have to change or buy them as often.

I think they sound great on my acoustics. That's a combination that I like a lot, they sound great and last for a long time.

Let me know what you think if you try them.
