G and C minor Chords

Hi, I was wondering why in the lessons (cs2), the fingering of the G minor and C minor chords are not the same as on the ulitimate chord finder?

There are many different ways to play, finger, voice any given chord. When we did the Fundamentals course we had to pick one, basic, most standard way to play the chord in a way that was integrated with the other course material.

The Chord Finder is more of an overall reference source. So, it's not for instruction per se. It will typically have other voicings to explore & use after you understand the basics.

There are many different ways to finger chords. It's good to have several options in your repertoire. Depending on the song you may find one fingering easier.
