Gibson is absolutely out of control with their prices. There was a HUGE jump in prices from 2013 to 2014. And ANOTHER one for 2015!?!?!

I am SO glad I got my 2013, otherwise I just would never have owned an LP standard. I got mine, which is an LP Standard Plus, as a demo (new condition) for ~$1900. That same guitar as a demo in a 2014 model, with the same specs as my 2013, goes for $2650!!! Say WHAT!!!!

The 2013 models were flying out of their store. I hesitated at first and missed out. Fortunately for me, more came in.

At least with the 2015, they are making improvements. I do have to say that I'm not 100% happy with the fretboard. For the cost of the guitar, it could have been a little more refined. That's being picky...the guitar plays like an absolute dream!
