Choosing different guitar instructor in Core learning system

Hello,

I just joined guitartricks and I started with Guitar fundamental level 1 (core system) but I am unable to choose my instructor. All level 1 lessons are based on electric guitar (done by Mr. Christopher). I want to start with acoustic but with different instructor.

Is it possible to do that?

All the current fundamentals lessons are taught on electric. But don't worry! Everything I teach is applicable to acoustic guitar. All the notes, chords, scales, fingerings & exercises are exactly the same for any guitar. Everything! :)

There are a number of acoustic lessons on GT that you can work on as well, but the fundamentals are the best guided course for beginners.

I did the core levels 1 and 2 on acoustic. Wasn't an issue at all. I then decided I wanted to go down the rock path but with only an acoustic it wasn't working for me. So i switched to the country path. I plan on completing the country path and am actively searching for an electric. Once done with country I'll switch to the rock patch on my electric. Having fun so far.

When you go to Lessons -> Core Learning System there's a small message under the big picture with the 8 core courses, saying something along the lines of "The new Guitar Fundamentals course has been released. If you want to use the 'old' course, click here". Just click on the link in that message and you're good to go.
