New locking tuners on 2013 std strat.
So easy to put on and i had no choice to re use the original strings. Gotta tell ya so worth it.
Needed a little string adjustment, besides that good to go.

Awesome! Did you have to do any drilling? I'd like to get these for my 2000 strat. After using them on my LP, I'm a convert. Between the ease of string changes and the tuning stability, I'm sold!!! Goodbye string winder!

Where did you buy them from? How did you match them to the model year of your guitar so you didn't have to do any drilling?

I had looked into it a little one time and it looked there were some variations to look out for.

As i was told from fender, once putting these locking tuners on ,you can remove the string tree if you wanted to. I tried it but i didnt remove it from my headstock, just the strings from it. I noticed no difference.
And i just wanted to shout that reverb.com
Is a very safe and secure place to buy and sell.
Just as ebay ect. Selling wise there the best.
Ebay charges the seller 12% plus other fees.
Reverb charges 3.5%. I caint stress it enough.
Were ever you buy from.your most likely usein paypal.

I ordered some and will have them this Thursday!!! Can't wait!

Amazon had them cheap, so I got them there since I get expedited shipping for free...and rediculously easy returns if there is a problem :-).

Interesting that you can remove the string trees too. I don't know if I'll do that.

Give it a try what do you have to loose.
I wouldnt take the st off the headstock.
I just took the string off off it.
Why is the string tree there .
Some say its to stop the string from breaking.
Fender tells me thats not the case.
He said it had something to do with the nut. Now not the string coming out. Sh!t i forgot why.
