Hello.

Through Propellerhead Software, I was given a month free access to guitartricks.com, which I activated yesterday.

So far, I'm impressed by the available lessons and their quality. But the constant failure of pages to load makes it impossible to enjoy any of it. Most pages take a few minutes to appear, often only after a couple of tries and lots of patience. Sometimes the page only loads partially, showing only blank space below the red tabs. It did mark all failed pages as viewed.

Once a page has finally loaded, any video plays fine. I was trying the Rock Effects lessons and it would take up to 10 minutes to get to the next section (if at all) and each section has a video that plays for a minute or two.

As I noticed the "Download Video" buttons, I tried to download the video once I had managed to get to a lesson page. This sometimes worked but usually took a couple of tries and long waits. I did manage to download two of the videos but it took a lot of attempts, after which the website decided I am only allowed 15 tries a day.

So all in all I found no way get any work flow to these lessons at all.

Will access get usable when I start paying for a subscription? There's really a lot of interesting lesson material in there I'd like to get access to.

Hi,
Sorry about the trouble you are having. Thanks for the detailed description.

We are not having this experience site-wide. The pages are loading fine for most everyone else.

The problem that you have won't get better if you pay beyond the trial. So don't try that as a solution, it will just make you frustrated.

It might help to reboot your router. If I were in your position I'd give it a shot.

It sounds like there is a network error between you and us. When you request a page on the internet it gets bounced from router to router until it gets to you. Somewhere between you and us there is a problem router. Usually these problems sort themselves in a few days.

If you like, you can contact our support to try to trace down the problem, but it will probably self-resolve before you can figure it out.

Sorry I don't have better advice. Let me know how it goes?

Thanks for the quick response.

That support page you suggest... guess what. It's not loading either.

Restarting my router was a good thought. In this case it didn't help, I restarted the router but the problem did not go away.

I have some more information now though. When trying to get to the Lessons tab, I stumbled upon an error message that 's new to me. It stated "Website is offline", I attached a screen shot of it. Its link "Additional troubleshooting" links to https://support.cloudflare.com/hc/en-us/articles/200171926-Error-524

So indeed it does look like there is some connection problem somewhere between you and me.

I'll just put away my guitar for now and try again some other day -- maybe as you said the problem will clear up.
