It's great that you did it to a backing track. I think that is so important. Even though it is an exercise, it gives it a musical context and forces you to play in time.

I should take a look at this exercise myself. It looks like a good tool to have in your arsenal.


Thank you! I have been working A LOT on that exercise. I thought I had it down a few weeks ago, but it wasn't as clean/fluid, so I just kept at it.

But definitely go ahead and learn it or any of those other arpeggios. It's really just as good of a picking exercise as anything else, since most of it is one note per string. My next goal is to learn to economy/sweep pick it. :)
