I like music and songs. Refresher of Lyrics songs I sang many years ago about romance(serenade!), folk songs of my native land I came from. So, now after not playing a guitar for the last 20 years+ which I had learned the the basics of Ukelele and 5 string guitar; am a newbie again and trying very hard to learn fast, as much as, I can handle. The first challenge I have to overcome is the tenderness of my 4 fingertips(Rock-Tips) helped alleviate the pain and practice more everyday. Lisa McCormick get me on a head start for a beginner; while, Christopher Schlegel inspired me so much about his lessons on "Tablature". Not easy. I got confused. Time is running out on me(am 73 years old) and how much further I can become as a better guitar player in a short time, is on my side. Great website with a lots of information and teachers. I am overwhelmed! I have to take it one step at a time. These two teachers gave me an inspiration I need to pursue my old passion of singing with the guitar. My voice is baritone sung and joined a choir of many years ago and sung duet, trio and solo. For now, this is me, "to be the best" I can be...my goal!

Go as slowly as you need. I understand your desire to hurry up & learn, but you'll only make it harder for yourself! Try to be patient. :)
