i havent really had any real problems wiv the standard, the only thing is with it that its pretty dam heavy, but its well worth being a bit uncomfortable!
i suppose it depends on how far you can stretch to grab chords and to play basslines. if u have issues with the width of the fretboard then itd prob b wiser 2 go with the classic, but they-a gibsons a gibson!!
