Hot rod OM acoustic

I have a Blueridge OM 163. I love the feel of the gtr but was never happy with the boxey tone and how easily the top was overdriven. All manner and mfg of strings didn't help. So I added an Oport. Projection and volume improved but still too boxey. Next a Pearce armrest and another improvement but not the tone I was looking for in a small body acoustic. Finally I installed power pins and now I now have the sound in my head coming out of my guitar.
