There's hardly ever anyone in the chat room, so I don't think that's it.

But for 20,000+ members, it sure is quiet.

Well, Britney hasn't done anything amusing lately...

We could always thrash Jennifer Lopez's new movie but it will probably die by itself.

And it's not funny anymore to laugh about Bush or Chretien (for us canadian), too easy.

So.... guess it's back to playing the blues :)

Thatz the way it is in a forum. I know that well for i have a few boards too and there are times when there are 200 postings a day, and then there are times when there are 2 postings a week - no need to worry about that. And be sure it is not the chat. There are hardly ever more than 5 peeps online. But i hope Jon will add the link to it soon so that it can be used more frequently.

well, how about star wars episode 2, not exactly political but its a start.
To improve technique and of course trying to keep all as clean as possible. I know my own limits and speed limits and so on I never play anything I'm not capable of. That wouldn't make any sense. After three years of playing I tried to play everything as fast as possible and that sounded, I would say, like shit, and I didn't realize that if I'd play bit slower things than I was capable of playing then everything would sound much better.

star wars, hmmm... sadly i dont think anyone feels so pationatly about it.. (am i the only one who doesn't give a flying *ahem*?)
Oh well... *twiddles thumbs.... whistles tunelessy*...

Christoph: I'm actaully intrested in some collabe work... I'm sorry i wasn't a great help on the last piece (it was great dont get me wrong).. just something more loose, I like the idea of building the track as it goes along.

*plays "Hyme for the ciggerates" by hefner through lovely new headphones.... mmmm, just soak in that gorgouse bass, with no distorted mid ranges*

tried a nice little classical guitar, well for Ā£60 i thought it was nice.... and i'm tempted to buy it... it sounded nice to me, but i didn't see what was wrong with it... and for that price there MUST be something wrong with it, LOL...

it's a featured song, so all shmucks teetering on the edge of thier seats poised to scream "PIRACY" can shut up...

(I remember the complete dissaster in getting poeple to listen to "life without biuldings", so i'm not holding my breath over this)...
then again the poeple here would probably only be impressed by things like "I want you" by the inspiral carpets... hurmph... why am so misunderstood? (/end mock frustration)

I live in one of the cities that couldn't pay the outrageous price for the movie. So I wont be able to see it on the big screen. I thought Lucas was a great artist in is work, now I realise that greed got to him.

I just hope we won't see too may of those acts. Spiderman was played in 183 screens while Star wars only played on 80 in Quebec. I won't do a 5 hour drive to go see Star Wars if you see my point.

I was gunna go see the new Star Wars film last week with my two brothers. But one of em was being an asshole, so I didn't go, n they said it was good. I saw the Phantom Menace a few weeks ago, n thought it was ok, but no where near as good as the original ones.

Benoit . . . Episode II is definitely not worth a five hour drive.

The problems with the new Star Wars movies cannot be summed up easily, but let's give it a shot . . .

The characters are completely flat and blah. They have no charisma, and the acting is horrible. In some of the "love story" parts you could practically tell that they were just reciting lines off a page. I don't know who did the casting, but what were they smoking when they cast those two for Anakin and Amidala??? The actor playing Anakin is so annoying, and he looks sooooo wimpy. In Episode IV when Darth walks into the space ship at the beginning he's huge, almost towering over everyone else. I'm hoping Episode III can explain this.

The new movies are such a departure from the mood and feel of the originals. The old ones focused on characters and development of the story, whereas the new ones are completely focused on battles and special effects. Anyway, the point is that nothing can compare to the zaniness of the first three. The story was well done, and the characters were memorable. Who can forget Han Solo, Luke, Leia, or Chewbacca? . . . but do you really think anyone is going to care when Amidala ends up a corpse in Episode III?

PonyOne . . . yeah, Falling Down was a classic movie. Give an angry white guy with nothing to lose a bag of guns, and you've got a recipe for success.

Yeah, Kirk Douglas was the main character.

I like the part when he's watching those home movies of his family. One second he's all nice and friendly with his daughter, going "Horsie ride . . .", and then the next second he goes ballistic at his wife. "Put her on the goddamn horse!!"

LOL . . . maybe I just have a sick sense of humor.
