Hello from Japan

Just wanted to drop a quick line- first post at GT. I've been playing guitar for nearly 20 years (off and on), have played in a couple of bands and now do my own singer/songwriter type stuff on occasion. I'm mostly focused on fingerstyle and blues (particularly acoustic) but I love it all! I've joined GT looking to patch up holes in my theory and technique, as well as a way to take things to another level.

Let's do this!!

There is plenty of info here for patching the holes.. Several experienced players here have gone right back (core lesson 1 and 2) to the beginning and found things they didn't know or had forgotten.

That's the plan- I'm planing to go slowly and steadily through the core lessons while continuing and ramping up my current practice schedule. I just finished a (fairly) successful solo gig last weekend, but I REALLY want to ramp things up a notch!
