Things I've never heard before;
This software looks like a whole lotta fun but fyi, all I find at Sweetwater are 2013 packages. That might account for the lower prices.

"It takes a lot of devotion and work, or maybe I should say play, because if you love it, that's what it amounts to. I haven't found any shortcuts, and I've been looking for a long time."

When I first started playing guitar,I had a guitar and an amp and some pedals.
Which was very satisfying.
Today there is so much attractive gear it makes it hard to keep ur money in ur pocket.

Here is another one I just come across earlier.
Guitar bots.
WWww.guitarbots.com .
In the short YouTube demo it looks like u plug ur guitar into ur pc as it shows you chords and songs ect.it even lets you know if ur playing the chord,scale or song correctly. Definitely great for beginners.
Idk how far it will take you , meaning does it teach modes ect.
Always something new everyday!

I bought a guitar from SW that had three glaring flaws. They say they give everything a 55 point inspection. They didn't say by Stevie Wonder. When I sent the guitar back and asked for a Taylor instead of same $1K value, they sent me one with a defective power supply that would kill 9-volt batteries in days. I guaranty that these had been returned by other people because I wouldn't put up with that crap. A new guitar should not have a warped top and fingerprints by workmen under the finish or defective power supplies etc. Beware. It took me weeks of fiddly effing around because even Taylor was lax about it before I got the acoustic fix. SW never puts any bad reviews up on anything. The other main on-line vendor, MF, at least puts up the bad reviews of products with the good. I never got anything bad from them or ZZ.
