Hey Mick.
GT already has the version made famous by Eric Burdon and The Animals, so I doubt there will be lessons on the version by The Ventures. I don't really know what the difference between the two version is, though (if there is any). I suggest you try posting in the "song request" section for full subscribers. It's more likely that your request will receive the attention of the people in charge of getting permissions :)
I can recommend that you try looking at sheetmusicplus.com. They have sheet music and tabs for lots of great songs, so it would certainly be a good place to start. You can also buy the tab/sheet music as digital downloads so you don't have to wait a few days. That way, you can print the tab right away. The free alternative, which may not be as accurate, is that you try searching for it on ultimate-guitar.com. Keep in mind that the tab you find there doesn't have any notation, so you'll need to figure out the rhythm by ear.

The ventures version of house of the rising sun is a lead guitar based version without hammond organ fantastic version, there is also a American rock version by a ban called Frigid Pink also excellent google and watch i'm sure all blues and rock fans will like, in the meantime would like the Ventures verion of house of the rising sun in tabs . enjoy

try to track down a copy of this book: You Can Do It: Play Guitar Dammit!
it has a very good (ventures like version) arrangement of that song. It is also very accessible as well. good luck!
