Tosin Abasi

I'm sure a lot of you have already listened to "Animals As Leaders," but I watched this workshop that Tosin Abasi led, and man did it blow me away. He might not be the fastest or best shredder, but he can do some things that no one else can. He plays an 8-string, so the band has no bassist. But he has this crazy finger-picking style where he uses his thumb to pick both up and down and the rest of his fingers, and he can do it in a way that allows him to pick faster than anyone could alternate-pick with a guitar pick.
