Woo hoo, Sgt Tee! Me thinks you and I share the same interests/tastes in music. But you sent me on another kind of memory trip with this link.

Ya' see, the site is hosted by associates of Bladensburg High School, in the Maryland town of the same name. Fifteen miles down the road to Silver Spring is the high school I attended, coincidentally during the initial years of the pop music shown on your link.

So, I quite naturally hold an appreciation for the music listed as do, I'm sure some notable classmates; Senior - Ben Stein, Junior - Goldie Hawn, Sophomore - Connie Chung, Freshman - john of MT. ;) Sylvester Stallone is thought to have done a marking period or two at the school during the same time but I haven't been able to verify it.

Thanks for the trip!! I now return the forum to guitar stuff. :D

Speaking of sock hops, I saw Link Wray at one of 'em at that H.S. of mine (my first 'real' date :D)....
