Hi all! I am a newbie and at the age of 38 am just trying to learn to play guitar. I have never played any musical instruments. I am 2 weeks into learning and have just recently made my first chord changes. I play a Peavey JF1 EX through a Fender Vibro Champ DX. I got the want to play after going to a show and hearing a Gibson hollow body in person for the first time up close. I fell in love with the tone of that guitar and now have a true passion for that sound and tone that I heard that day. I love to practice and I like getting a little better each day. I practice at least an hour a day. Also glad to have found Guitar Tricks. I love the lessons and instructors so far.

Greg, please keep us updated on your progress. At an hour a day, how fast are you going through Guitar Fundamentals?

Hey Greg

Just curious, do you think you'll play mostly rhythm, or lead? Or is the plan to be a straight-up virtuoso?
