There is a great little movie about a kid wanting to be a blues man; Crossroads. It's very much worth watching and re-watching especially after you learn the background and Arlen Roth's heavy contribution to the film. See this; http://www.arlenroth.com/html/crossroads.shtml . FYI, Steve Vai has significant on-camera playing time at the end of the movie.
Some years later in 2012 Gibson issued a Ralph Macchio Crossroads Special Edition electric guitar even though Macchio actually didn't play (you coulda fooled me) and I don't think there were any Gibsons in the flick. ;)

ok i had to watch this video once again.everytime i watch it,i learn something new.i love buddy guy as a player and person as well.his guitar playin is just so smooth .the way he bends his strings are awsome.when iam done watching his video,i have go put on a blues jam track,and jam 4 an hour or so.love it.theres allot to learn from this video buddy has made,so with that said,THANK YOU BUDDY GUY,U DA BOMB.I HAVE A NEW BUDDY NOW HA.
