changing styles....
hey everybody, I've been playing for about 6 months, i started out playing stuff like ac\dc, lynnard skynnard, and guns n roses. but now i want to learn punk, like blink and green day, does anybody know some especially easy songs for me to start out with?

everything by Green day is quite easy, just take a song you like and stick to it.

Just hammer out some random powerchords. And the worse you play them the closer to the style you will be. If you looking for Green Day/Blink stuff have a look at a tab web site. http://www.harmony-central.com is pretty good.

I don't hate them if thats what your implying. I will listen to them if I have to. But as for playin their stuff on guitar, no thanks I like to play things that challenge my skills.

all blink songs are the same 5 chords... G5, C5, F5, A5, D5 but youd be surprised at how many different songs you can make with only 5 chords...
