Hello all: New player here. Started in '78 with a Yamaha Acoustic but did not follow through. Now at age 70 and starting over, I am determined to get the task done. Still have the Yamaha and several electrics (Squire Stratocaster, Epi G-400 Pro, Epi LP Traditional Pro), a couple of amps (Mustang III V2 and Fender Frontman 25R). Now all that is lacking is ability. Retired so have no excuse for not practicing. Going to start the Core program and take it from there. Really glad Guitar Tricks exists for the lessons and songs. Anyway sorry for the long ramble but gotta start somewhere. Take care. Burt

Hi Burt,
Congrats on getting started. That is the hardest part. If you don't mind some advice, I'd recommend you try not to let the past force you to push yourself to make up for lost time. Slow and steady is what's needed here.

Keep us updated, ok?
