Unfortunately, Neal has moved on. We are big fans, Neal is a great guy and he'll be missed.
Some people have given me flack for not making a big announcement. I guess I just didn't want to announce what is essentially sad news for me.
Instructors have interesting lives, and they come and go on GT. It is just part of the process. But each leaving is a little sad.
So please wish Neal well and know that the rest of us will do what we can to keep you learning.

It's a big loss for GT. Neal was actually the guy here at GT who made me sign up in the first place, after watching some of his Guitar Tricks Channel lessons on YouTube (I wasn't honestly looking specifically for those). Neal leaving GT does raise one question though: What will happen to the GT Channel lessons? Will someone else be doing those weekly lessons or will it stop completely?

Man this is really sad news. I wish Neal nothing but the best!
Neal really was the face of Guitartricks. I loved his humor and his teaching style. He was also the guy who I stumbled upon on Youtube thus making me sign up here.
You will be missed Neal!
I'm also very curious about the future of the GT Channel. Hope you guys can find a suitable replacement.

Oh, man, I was wondering what happened to him; he was a huge draw; in fact, I sent a note to GT about not seeing him just tonight prior to implusively checking the forum which I hadn't done for more than a year. Bummed.

Axe, might make you feel better to know that just before Neal left, I just happened to send him a big thank you for his GT Channel lessons... I really liked the one on David Gilmour's playing style. Helped me a lot. Anyways, he got the message, and sent me a nice reply. Class act... :)

I second this post. Neal is the reason I am here signed up. I just enjoyed his videos as they were always upbeat and they put a smile on my face. I don't think it was a good idea to let him go his way. Guitar tricks is not what it was when I signed on. Just my opinion. Pete (Sgt. Tee)
