Hi everyone, I am a 48 year old teenager that has been making music off and on for 35 years. I started out playing drums in church with my family that played piano, acoustic guitar, and bass. After a few years I graduated to bass guitar and enjoyed playing bass but was always fascinated by a good lead guitar player so at the age of 15 I started teaching myself to play acoustic guitar and later lead guitar. Even though I did learn to play a little my progress was slow and I would frequently loose interest for months at a time. For the past year I have been playing more and more and finally decided that it was time to get help, so I googled guitar lessons and found this site. After watching a couple of sample lessons I learned some things that I had never found on my own and decided that this may be the help I need to take my playing to the next level. So I took advantage of the 1 year special and signed up. I am going through all the lessons even though I could skip over some of the beginner lessons, I don't want to miss anything. I feel like a 5th grader starting over in kindergarten. I am determined to learn this instrument and I feel that its now or never. Sorry for such a long post, I look forward to learning from you guys.
