My personal favorites in strats are maple fretboards with either the sunburst finish like Eric Johnson's guitar or white with the cream colored scratch plate (that last one might backwards). I'm usually stingy when it comes to paying extra for a finish or paint job, but back in 2000 when I went guitar shopping, I fell in love with the sunburst finish on the strat and gladly paid extra money for it. I didn't know it at the time, but it's a classic look for a strat.

You can't go wrong with a strat. I love my les paul studio, but my strat is the more versatile of the two. gotta love that signature strat tone too.

Yeah i hade to pay more money just for that color i had on that prs blue crab fog ,but i had to have it i loved that color.i'll probably go to GC and check out there strats,i like white Guitars.
