YEAH I CAINT EVEN TAKE MY ONE YEAR OLD DAUGHTER OUT ALONG WITH MY WIFE,WITHOUT HAVEING SOMEOME BREAK INTO MY HOUSE AND STEAL ALL MY GEAR ,EVERYTHING IS NOW GONE..IF AND WHEN I FIND OUT WHO IS THE CAUSE OF THIS WELL I BETTER NOT SAY WHAT MIGHT HAPPEN.IAM STILL IN SHOCK MADE THE PLOICE REPORT WELL MY WIFE DID,I COULDN'T EVEN SPEAK UNLESS IT WAS VULGAR.EVEN MY NEW DSL,AND BLACKSTAR AMPS ARE GONE ,WELL I GUESS THEY DIDNT SEE MY WAH,AND DIST PEDALS.THEY TOOK ALL MY CORDS EVEN GRABED MY WALL DISPLAY CASES I HAD TWO.NO INSURANCE ON THEM .IM FREAKING DONE.MY $3000 prs custom 24 damm it. So depressed .

My wife was just freakin out,but why just take all my.gear i have a 47 inch flat screen right there ,that wasent taken jewelry not taken,well my wife keeps that stuff in a lock box we're its not visible.it feels like my heart was ripped out from me. Obviously they were after your gear if they left everything else. That's so terrible. It's a lot easier to grab guitars and stuff than a TV.

At least nobody in your family was hurt. As angry as it makes you, stuff can be replaced, harm to your family is a different story.

Yes im grateful there was no harm to me or my family.but had i been home ,as iam locked and loaded this never would of happened ill leave it at that..its gotta be someone i know,who knows the expense of my gear.idk.i dont hang out with losers so to speak.don't know any druggies.this just has me baffled.i will start calling every pawn shop.i had called the local ones already,no luck.im sure the thief or thieves stole it for money.i will never stop looking for my gear.

Hope you had Model and Serial numbers logged somewhere, and photos. Thieves got my daughter 2 guitars and a friends guitar a year or so ago. Along with some other stuff. She got most of it back, but took forever to get from evidence locker at the police station. Had to wait for after the trial.

unfortunately i dont have any serial #,i may be able to get the serial # from ptc on my usa prs,i had sent it to them twice,so im sure they will have it.but on the other three i dont.not even on my amps.if i have to put a possy togther to find them i will.im assumeing there was more then one perp,cause it would be hard to take all i had with just one person.

This is terrible news Axe. Whoever sold you the PRSs should be able to look up the serial numbers for you. Keep an eye out on ebay, and there are also several sites that will search all Craigslist. Here's one of them:

Did you show anyone your gear recently. Did you have anyone work in your house. Someone knew you had that gear. Maybe from the noise but maybe not. Think about everyone who knew it was there and rule them out one by one.
Too late now but you have to have insurance. It costs a fraction of what the gear costs.

Been thinking about you all day Axe... any luck so far? One thing it sounds like is that whoever took it was specifically targeting guitar gear... sounds like they ignored other items in the house, and went for what they were familiar with.

I'd really keep an eye on Craigslist and Ebay... maybe even post flyers in the neighborhood and/or give them out a pawn shops so that they can spot your gear if it comes in.

Hawking a $3000 PRS custom without drawing attention is not going to be easy. Don't give up.

Another thought is this... I think you're right. I think they heard you playing, figured out when you were out, and then hit. This means it could be someone who lives close by and was on foot passing your place when they heard you practicing. Maybe walk around the neighborhood just keeping your eyes and ears open. Ask anyone you bump into if they saw someone carrying guitar gear on the day it happened... you never know. Worth a try.

OMG,u just rang a.bell i my head SLIP,there is a house right behind mine diagonally.just a privacy fence between us.i hear these guys jamming all the time ,well use to anyway.i been livein here over 15 years.now i havent heard them play in a long time maybe 1 year ago.i have a big back yard ,and when the sun goes down its so dark in my yard.it would be so easy for them to hop the pvt fence ,one stays on his side as he sends a couple of knuckleheads on my side.i have a back porch that leads to a double sideded door,and thats how the perps got into my home,by jamming that door open.so they come in grab what they came for and pass it to the dude on his side of the fence.they would need a little latter.i have never seen these ppl,they can be kids,or home owner idk.it would be so simple,they probably came for my Guitar and amp,then realized they hit the jack pot.i will be going over there to introduce myself,to feel them out. Hey slip,it hit me when you said it could be someone who lives close bye.i caint belief i didn't think of these ppl,on the opposite side of my pvt fence.it may sound to good to be true.but iam hitting everyone up in my hood..caint thank you enough. I was gonna buy a fender strat,or another prs and put EMG 51/55 pickups in it. Gotta get back to playing.its a good healer thereby.
