New member-ish

Hey all. Just saying hello. I've been a subscriber for the last year. Its been great learning and checking out different thoughts and opinions. I am 31 have been playing music most of my life. Started with piano grew out of it when I picked up my dads old acoustic. That he had forever but never touched it. I played til my fingers bled (cliché I know) but true. I loved guitar. I wrapped my bleeding fingers in masking tape. In order to keep playing. I recently lost my father a few years ago. I pretty much fell off the planet then. I shut down (needless to say so did me playing). Guitar Tricks has really boosted my desire to play. I just enjoy everything about the site. Keep up the rockn' work GT.

Glad to help get your enthusiasm going. That is always a critical part. Sorry to hear about your father. That is hard to deal with, I know. Music soothes the soul, if not the fingers :)
