has any one heard of Ralph Paul guitar teacher learn to play the guitar in 5 min is this guy for real sounds like a scam to me.

Never heard of him, but if something seems like it's not a good fit for you I would learn from someone else.

total scam.....the instructors here know how to play more guitar/more about music than this guy will ever dream of knowing. Hell, I can play better than this poser.

It isn't my nature to bad mouth people but he rips people off. IMO So he's fair game. I had a drummer friend of mine fall for this garbage and even he realized it and sent it back. I'm not sure he even got a refund. smh........

Ah, Ralph Paul's "Learn to Play in 5 Minutes" claim is one I've come across before. I've come across a lot of these "learn quick" schemes over the years, and while I'm all for shortcuts, learning to play the guitar in 5 minutes sounds a tad... optimistic? 😂 

I kinda agree with everyone else here, I mean, you might get a chord or two down in that time, but to truly grasp the guitar, it takes a bit more dedication. However, to be fair, I haven't personally experienced Ralph Paul's methods, so I can't speak definitively about it.

If you're genuinely curious about him or if you're considering hiring another tutor, maybe do a bit of checks. I've used https://recordspage.org/ in the past when I was curious about someone's history or reputation. It's just a casual way to get some insights, especially if something seems too good to be true.
