Hi everyone
I have been playing the guitar for the last 40 years or so.
Although in the earlier years I got pretty good at classical playing
I never kept it up. With midi file I was able to replicate some of my favourite pieces of music. Nice but it lacked that human touch or feel.
I am 61 years old, my granddaughter implored me to teach her.
so I decided to take it up again. And here I am, in the hope that I will be able to regain some of the wonderful feeling of being able to be fully competent at my playing. And be in a position to teach my granddaughter all the knowledge I gain.

That's a great goal. Don't be tempted to try to become great by Tuesday :) Slow and steady will get you back to being solid.

Have fun!

Welcome Trebor!

That's great you are using teaching your granddaughter as a way to get back into guitar, and you came to the right place.

Keep us posted along the way, and enjoy the site! :D
