Hello, I am a retired employee, an amateur photographer and play the guitar as a hobby. I play the guitar as a classical guitar student of Maestro Jose Valdez 1985. My book was a Carcassi Guitar Method publish by Fisher. Its an on and off affair for about 2 plus years, then I completely stop playing because of my job. 2010 I started reading the notes again, bought additional materials from amazon and pdfs from various authors. I also have music softwares installed on my computer to aide me. Getting the Full Access has finally set the time management and guidance that I don't have when studying the guitar by myself.

retired employee 2012 , widower 2015 , Three grandchildren , Study Guitar .

Hi there...
It's re-assuring to know I'm not the only person of senior years taking up the guitar. I'm 57 years old, and really looking forward to learning and improving my guitar ability in the months ahead!!

Good luck everyone...it's nice to be here!!

It's never too late to start, or re-start :D

Guitar Tricks is a great place to get back on your feet again, and really get moving from credible instructors that allow you to move at your own pace.

It really makes me happy to see people finding their love for the guitar again, and using GT as the vehicle to do that.

Best of luck ;)
