So i just got this pedal here, it's the MXR Slash Octave Fuzz which has 3 functions
i bought this pedal off a guy, as a 3'rd hand purchase.

But i think there is something wrong with the pedal unless im overseeing a setting on the pedal....

so here is the problem:

1. When i turn on the blue light (octave ON button, the blue light) It seems to work like it should.
2. But when i turn on the yellow light (Sub into Fuzz, the yellow light) the signal just cuts off an no sound is comming from my guitar, even my dry signal cuts off. It's only when i turn ALL the knobs on the pedal all the way up that i can hear the pedal and my signal playing faintly... It's like there is a loose signal around that button.
3. When i turn on the Red light (the Octave UP button, the Red light) it Seems only to work when i have the Blue light turned on aswell. Or is that meant to be like that?

The main problem is the yellow light ''Sub into Fuzz'' button. It seems like there is a loose signal there. What do i do about that? and i just bought the freaking pedal. It's annoying.

So what do i do?

here is a sample of the pedal where you can see it in action
