Stop listening to what other people tell you, and do what YOU want! If you like the Boogie, keep it, and tell your friends to sod off.

It seems that Fender has discontinued the Sunn line. I think they do a similar range of amps, just under the Fender brand. I would like a Fender Deluxe Reverb, but if anyone can point a tube amp that has similar qualities (low wattage, good vintagy sound, nothing too fancy, if possible that great vibro setting that Fender has on those amps but is hardly necessary) feel free to point one out. I am also looking at the low wattage Voxes, but there doesn't seem to be much of a market for high quality, low wattage tube amps.

I have a feeling that Fender evived the company for long enough to get a line of amps going that they could then change to Fender and say "really the same as the old Sunns". If they'd just made a range of Fender amps initially, they probably wouldn't be as popular. As far as I knew though, they only started making Sunn amps again in 1999, or am I missing something?

Resistance is futile, you will be assimulated.......... and then dropped like a hot potato, I hadn't heard that Fender discontinued the Sunn amp line, that's a crime in my book!
