Fingerstyle from the Pacific Northwest

Hello there- We are currently living in the Portland, OR/Vancouver, WA area. We moved from Austin, Texas a year ago and love it up here!

I've been playing for around 31 years now; mainly fingerstyle though all the bands I was ever in were good 'ole rock bands: KISS, Van Halen, Rush etc.

My dad got me onto Chet Atkins, Roy Clark and Jerry Reed back around 1978-ish and as such I've had the pleasure of hearing some great players over the years.

I love to learn new ways to see/hear the same thing we all know...it only seems to reinforce or shed new lights so I am really enjoying watching the various instructors here.

We're nearby Missoula, MT; a bit outside the 'official' Northwest but close enough. :) Moved from San Antonio in '98. Loved Texas; in love with Montana. My best friend, and the one responsible for getting me back into guitar, is in Tacoma, WA a hair away from Vancouver.

So...we've got all that geography and guitar in common. And GT. :D
