main guitar is a 1996 Fender Stratocaster (upgraded to early model noiseless pickups). Love it.

Hey thanks man. I love PRS's. So far, I've only had the pleasure of checking a few out at GC. That is on top of my list when I get the funds. I've wanted one since the 90's. I also like the 25 inch scale length. The best of both worlds IMHO.

Take care,

Pat

How are those noiseless pickups, are they the hss pups ,and are they really noiseless.thats funny the prs is on ur wish list, and the fender is on mine.i don't have any single coil pups, mine are all humbuckers, though on my dave Navarro prs it has a push pull knob we're u can break the humbuck into a single coil,.well good luck on ur prs,u will have allot of fun trying them out .btw,MF HAS A NICE SE MODEL ON SALE,ITS BLACK AND GREY,WITH ,HFS VINTAGE PUPS.

I like these particular ones a lot. they are very natural sounding. I've been told that the older model noiseless pickups are better? but I have no personal/first hand experience with them to back that statement up.
Of course, they still give off a little noise but, overall, they are MUCH quieter than a stock single coil. thanks for the heads up on the PRS. :)

At an MSRP of $699, no, it's not going to be american made. You are probably looking at at least $1,200 for an american made strat.

I love the sound and feel of it. It was my upstep form the $200 starter kit one. (Which I still recommend to someone who is unsure if they want to learn.)
