I'm new to the Forum, but have been trying to learn the songs and follow the progression for beginners. I've been picking at the guitar since 2009. I bought my acoustic in Surrey, B.C. and my electric in the Netherlands. I live in Germany, and it is really hard to find somebody to jam with or learn from. I enjoy picking up either of my guitars and strum or even pick just to keep some sort of calus on the fingers. That's about it for now. Hoping to hear from someone in the same situation. Oh yeah, I am 59 now, but feeling like I have another 50 to go.

Hi rgruggles, welcome to the forum. have you tried any open mic nights? I'm not sure if they're in your area but this can be a good place to meet people to jam with.
