Hello from New York. My name is Eric and I started playing the guitar when I was 16 years old, I'm now 33. I have had memberships at a number of popular lesson sites. I actually have nothing bad to say about any of the other sites, i enjoyed my time learning with them and may revisit them from time to time. After reading some reviews about Guitar tricks I thought I would take a test drive and see how things go. I love that Guitar Tricks has many licensed songs from many genres and costs less than other sites.

In the past I have played mostly metal and hard rock. I was glad to see some Pantera and Megadeth in the song list. However, I am looking to expand my horizons and learn to be a more versatile guitarist. I would like to be able to jam with anybody regardless of style. Hopefully Guitar Tricks will help me down that road.
